VMI offers vending solutions to workplaces across the Midlands and the North. With depots in Corby and Blackburn, the company is well equipped to service vending machines across the region. Offering snack vending machines, coffee vending machines, water coolers, chilled drink machines and combination snack and drink machines, VMI is able to offer lease, purchase and free on loan* vending solutions.

VMI is part of the SnackTime plc group, which was founded in 2001. SnackTime plc has grown to be the largest snack vending operator in the UK and Ireland and the fourth largest vending operator in the UK.

The SnackTime plc company was founded by Blair Jenkins who has a 25 year background in consumer goods, manufacturing and marketing, having started his career for Proctor and Gamble. SnackTime's first customers were in the Thames Valley but within a couple of years the business was able to offer a fully operated vending service across the whole of the UK. Today the company's customers number in excess of 20,000 and include many household names.

In 2007 SnackTime floated on the London stock exchange and SnackTime's shares are now actively traded on the AIM market under the ticker code SNAK.

The corporate HQ is in Wokingham Berkshire but sales, engineering and merchandising teams are spread across the country to deliver industry leading service levels. The vast majority of SnackTime's customers enjoy a fully operated vending service at no cost to them. In September 2009, SnackTime acquired the franchise vending company Snack in the Box. Based in Havant in Hampshire, Snack in the Box sells franchises across the country and has a network of over 150 franchisees. Franchisees may purchase either a "vending" or "box" franchise and maintain their own territory of business customer sites. This acquisition enabled SnackTime to expand both its customer base but also broaden its business activities to enable a diversity of income streams for the Group.

In September 2010, SnackTime acquired Vendia UK Ltd. Vendia UK’s core operation is a traditional vending business specialising in the sale of hot beverages, which complements SnackTime’s confectionery and chilled drinks operations. Vendia trades under brands such as Simply Drinks in London, Integer in the Midlands, VMI in the north of England and Drinkmaster, a national table top and in cup specialist company, based in Plymouth.
